Do not just listen to what is being said, listen to what they mean by what they are saying.

Your answers are very obvious- all you want is to fulfill your personal objectives.

For the record, employers are not charity organisations- this is not why they recruit individuals.

They (employers) have their own needs and requirments- that is what the question ( why do you…organisation) actually means:

Interviewer: what do you have to bring to the table that will help our organisation grow and why do you want to help us achieve this?

“How does your interest, desires, goals and needs meet our own interests, desires, needs and goals?”

Hubby: “I will like to buy you that blender because i love the smoothies my mother makes.

Spouse: “I can’t believe how self centred you are!”

Hubby: “what now! it’s a gift for you not for me you silly cow.

How does that make me self centred?
